Tips for selling furniture

Take Quality Photos: Clean the furniture, take high-resolution photos in good lighting, and shoot from all angles.
Write Detailed Descriptions: Include measurements, brand name, materials, and any existing damage.
Price Fairly: Research similar items on Facebook Marketplace to set a competitive price, usually roughly \(50\%-70\%\) of the original price for good condition items.
Use Safety Precautions: Meet in public places for smaller items, or have someone with you for home pickups. Never give out exact addresses until absolutely necessary

If It's Not Selling
  • Lower the Price: If you haven't received interest in a week, reduce the price.
  • Relist: Delete and create a new listing to boost visibility.
  • Donate: If time is more important than money, donate to local charities, which may offer tax deduction
