All about the kidneys...

I never really thought much about kidneys until mine shut down.  Even after passing a kidney stone it didn't really register just how critical kidney function is.  But as a dialysis survivor, I am now all about the kidneys.    

Dialysis saved my life.

I was extremely lucky to have excellent health insurence to cover my dialysis care and am very thankful to also have regained kidney function.  But others are still in need.
