UNDERCONSTRUCTION
Yes, I really do love the Internet and all its wondrous tubes! I'm one of those Xennials who was first introduced to the World Wide Web when I signed up for my first email account in college. It was pretty neat to be able to "write letters" to friends away at different schools since long-distance was so expensive. But other than that I had no idea really to the power of this communication and information tool, nor the effects on culture and society it would have.
This page is my "ode to the Internet" and is a collection of my thoughts, information, and resources. |

Internet vs World Wide Web
These two terms are used synonymously, but are NOT the same thing! The World Wide Web is only one layer of the Internet and is generally what people mean when they say "Internet." So what exactly is the Internet? Well, it's technically not a series of tubes at all but rather different protocols. It's a "network of networks" comprised of layers of applications such as email, file-sharing, and of course hypertext documents on the web.
